Hello Friends!
March found Mo and I laying low and healing up. As you may be aware, Mo broke her leg skiing at Bogus Basin here in Boise the end February. Her right lower leg bone (Fibula) had to have pins and a steel plate inserted. So…Mo is on the mend and we have had very good local shows last month regardless of her sitting down in a chair. Ugh! That’s no fun!
I was thrilled to play some solo gigs at the end of February in Green Valley Arizona and some great shows here in town at Bar 365 and 10 Barrel Brewing.
I had the chance to do some traveling in the interim of the healing. New Orleans (NOLA) has always been on my bucket list so I delved into the somewhat creepy, mysterious, historic, beautiful, haunted, whimsical, drunken, friendly, creative, city.
I found some new show clothes, met a ghost name Demietre, ate some amazing food (charred oysters were my favorite) and took in the strange vibe of the place. Music rolled out on the street night and day and the colorful buildings made perfect back drops for the new outfits to be showcased in a photo shoot.
Now home for April, I have a good musician friend visiting and hopefully we will embark on some songwriting and musing. We will have some great shows in April and one that takes us North to Lewiston mid-month! Be well sweet friends and thanks for being aboard!
Much love!
